Christmas Prayer

                                      Christmas Prayer

Loving Father, We thank you for your presence here today. We know, Lord, that the greatest gift of all is your presence among our lives.

We thank you for this time that we can gather here today to fellowship together as children of God and experience you Love and Your Grace.

Help us remember your birth our Lord Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the wise men.

Lord open the door of Your love all over the world and especially here at Union Gospel. Let Your kindness come with every joyous gift and Godly desires with every greeting.

Deliver us from evil with thy power of the new born Christ, and teaches us to be merry with clear hearts like the little child Jesus.

Lord, we offer up our humble prayer on this Christmas day. We come to fellowship with your words and thankful in our hearts—with a song of redemption, a song of hope and renewal.

We pray for joy in our hearts, hope in our God, love to forgive, and peace upon us and all throughout the world.

We ask for salvation, for our families and friends, and we pray for your blessings on all of us here at Union Gospel.

Lord we ask, may there be bread for the hungry,

love for the unlovable,

healing for the sick,

protection for our children,

and Godly wisdom for all of us as we seek you Lord.

We pray for the forgiveness of our sins and abundant life in Christ. Holy Spirit, fill our hearts with your love and power.

Let the us rejoice, for our Redeemer is born.

Let the sick find healing in the power of your healing spirit.

Let the captives rejoice, for their Savor is born.

Let slaves rejoice, for Christ came to free us from strangle hold of our enemies.

Let free men rejoice, for their Liberator is born.

As We All Rejoice, for Jesus Christ is born.

We Pray in Your Holy name, and the people of God says? Amen.
